2.Theme 362 ~Wine~

It’s official!  This is our new favorite wine!  I processed the b & w version a little differently & initially liked that one better.  Now, after looking at them both, I’m really not sure!  What about you?

  3. In this case I like the color version best as I can see the richness of the red wine in the glass. The golden setting gives the impression of rich as well.

Gonna have to go with the color version here–the warmth of the color is very appealing–the B & W one seems cold and uninviting.

  5. Another vote for the color. The tints are so rich and warm. The wine glasses look extra tall; are they?

    • Yes Val, they are oversized. I got them for Christmas.

Ditto on the color…the rich colors just adds to the ambiance of the image…now that is a wine I have never tried…what time do you want me over?? 🙂

    • Let me open a new bottle and let it breathe awhile then come on over!

  7. Although both images are beautiful, I too like the warmth of the first photo.

  8. I like the color version as the warm light makes you think about lingering awhile with a glass of that favorite wine.

I’m liking the color too…even though you know I like B+W too!

  11. Oh, wine! What a great theme!

I love the shots, especially the color. The black and white might have won me over with its great light, clarity, and contrast, but I’d rather it not have the white vignette.

I’ll probably never be able to find it here but I’ll have a look next time I’m at the wine store. 😉

I favor the color version too, and this is such a classy shot. I’ll have to give a wine glass a try sometime!

Tough choice–but in the end, I think I have to go with the color one. The golden tone is so appealing to the eye, as is the rich red of the wine in the glasses and the green of the bottle.

  15. Yep….the color…I prefer white wine, so I won’t be over to taste this one….

  17. Methinks you should combine the two, make the glass & bottle the true color and leave the background B&W

  18. Sadly it is likely gone by now. I love your composing, the color is more inviting…
