4. Theme 332 ~Through a Window~
Yes, it’s snowed again but it wasn’t anything like that awful blizzard….only 5″ as opposed to 20″. I’ll take it!

The B&W really gives the feel for the branches being covered with ice.

Beautiful through-the-window shot. I think I like the tinted one best.

The window makes great framing. I can’t decide which one I like better…

I like the first shot better…I like the warm tones – it almost makes the snow feel bearable! Beautiful, as always!

Both are great……very detailed

Like Tammy, I really like the first rendition better….slightly abstract, nice!

Very nice image. Both are good, but I am drawn more to the first which seems to add more depth to the photo.

Nice shot – am partial to the first one as well.

Hmmmm..The sepia shot coveys the feeling of being in a warm place, sipping a hot drink, and comfortably looking out at the cold. The B&W is COLD–it’s all about the snow. Would there be any way of combining them: leaving the parts on the far side of the window chilly B&W, but parts on the inside sepia?

Wow Madelaine, this is fantastic. I can picture this is a large format with a huge heavy black frame. Its great, I like the sepia ones best although both are really good.

I like the b/w which gives the snow a more pristine, icy feel. Your view is a nice one regardless of color.

I’m glad to be inside looking out in each. Your posting in two ways is really a fine exercise, great idea.

That is a great through the window shot. I like the color in the top one better.
