Yikes…..this caught my eye immediately!
Interesting result…this was processed using a high contrast orange filter.

I love this door in color so I can see how well it coordinates with the bricks. There have been quite a number of interesting doors posted in the last week.

Well, you’re not going to miss this door in a snowstorm! The bricks look fabulous also.

I really like the color and texture in the first photo. The orange door creates a feeling of warmth that the black and white image lacks. A good example of the different emotions a photo can create.

The color version wins today…I love the pop of the orange against all that rich texture! I really love this!
I love doorways and I love framing them in multiple opening frames!

I love rounded doors. So classy. And orange is a safety color, so the medics should find it easily.

For this one, definitely the color image. It’s all about the orange! I’ve been fascinatd by unique doors ever since I saw the forst Doors of Dublin poster back in the 70s, and it’s often color that makes a door special.

How could you miss that great door, well seen and shot. Surprising what the filter did.
I find myself getting lost in converting to B/W with the seemingly infinite results you can get.

The color makes it inviting where the B&W gives you that cold feeling.

Everyone seems to find such great colors for their doors. I would just paint mine bright red, LOL. I like the orange, it really stands out. Its funny how the b/w one lightens the door color so much.
