I like the coloured one best..it draws the eye to each book in turn. I love to see a well used book, it makes me think of how many people have lost themselves in it…and makes me wonder if I might enjoy it too!
I love love love these old books…the colored image especially. I think this is almost my favorite image this week. I like your focus, your angle of view, and your crop! Like others have said…I can almost smell these!
I can almost smell the dust and mildew, love where you’ve placed the focus in this shot.

I like books, new ones and expecially old ones, books have their own life. And I like the picture, very well done.

Vive La Classique!

I love those old classic worn books and the black and white processing really ages them even more!

I love these shots. You can really see the texture of the books. Good job!

Simple and elegant.

Love the old books, and your focus too, and once again the black and white version wins it. Wonder how sepia might add to the aging?

Thanks for adding the sepia, I do really like that. I need to do some more of these duotone type shots. So much fun, great job.

As much as I love B+W, I have to say I like the
color version best. Nice.

I love the color and can smell that old paper smell. I’ve joked about a scratch and sniff widget before but these variations of a great shot need one.

I strongly favor the color version. The beautiful quality of the light is lost in the b&w and sepia versions, in my view.
I have a shelf of books of this vintage but quite a pretty.

I like the angle you chose to shoot this, and the close up view. The color images is my favorite. It’s got a nice muted richness to it.
