I can’t articulate exactly why, but I prefer the second shot.

That’s quite a weathered masterpiece of a door, and I think the tone of the second pic looks better.

it’s so beautiful a door; there must not be a big difference, sometimes a small one – like here – is sufficient. Well done processing.

That’s one beautiful door…I’d hate to have to scrape and repaint it though…so many detailed moldings…
