74. Theme 357 ~What is That?~

It’s 1 WTC aka One World Trade Center.   When completed, it will be New York’s tallest skyscraper, with the antenna mast rising to 1,776 feet.  Do you think that number has any significance or is it just random?   Click HERE to find out about the 9/11 Memorial set to open this year on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks. The names of every person who died in the terrorist attacks of February 26, 1993 and September 11, 2001 are inscribed in bronze around the twin memorial pools.  HERE’S a link to an article about an 18th century wooden ship unearthed new World Trade Center site.

  4. Thanks. I used to live in upstate NY. I wasn’t sure what they were going to do with it. Appreciate your pics and the links. It brought me back in the know. Wonderful way to remember all of those people and as a country we cannot forget what happened there.

  5. And did I hear a piece on the news that they had forgotten to plan for restroom facilities at the Memorial site?
