82. Theme 118 ~From My Past~

The building on the left is the Stonehenge Apartments (obviously not the prehistoric structure in England 🙂 ) also known locally as ‘The Round House.”  I didn’t live in ‘The Round House’ but I did live in the building to the right of it. Our living room had a  gorgeous view of the New York skyline and the bedroom and kitchen had an equally beautiful view of the park and lake.  I was going to post this as is but then I remembered something that happened there. It was a UFO landing in the park directly across the street.  You can read an abbreviated account of the highly publicized event HERE.  It has even been featured in a History Channel documentary which is re-run occasionally.  If you’d like a more detailed article about this incident, read  THE STONEHENGE INCIDENTS Part 1 Part 2 (page 8).  Scroll down in part 1 and you’ll see a photo of Mr. O’Barski standing in front of the Stonehenge. Pretty cool!  (I had to do quite a bit of processing on my photo because of all the glare, not one of my better shots…I also did some online detective work to locate these links!)

  1. Wow there is some really interesting first hand accounts of UFO’s in that article, sends tingles up my spine. Too many unexplained happenings not to believe in their presence I think. Good detective work too!

  4. Interesting wiew and such a hug ebuilding compared with the others. I wonder what the rooms looked like, must be quite starnge wait round walls. However those buildings exist even today so I guess it works, just never seen one inside. The Stonehenge is mysterious, great with the links to the story
