102. Theme 33 ~Busy~
West 46th Street in Manhattan is always busy, but it’s especially busy on Wednesday afternoons……”Matinee Day.” In addition to an 8PM performance, theaters offer a 2PM performance…..perfect for a day out with the girls! A little shopping, a little lunch, a great play…..can’t think of a better way to spend a Wednesday! On this particular Wednesday, we saw BABY IT’S YOU, a play about The Shirelles, one of the great girl groups of the 60’s and Florence Greenberg, the woman who discovered them. You can see them performing one of their greatest hits, WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME TOMORROW or hear another of their popular songs, SOLDIER BOY. Enjoy!!

This has to be one of my dream destinations, who knows when I will get there, meanwhile I’ll just pretend I’m there with your images.

Those tunes really brought back memories. Wonderful composition showing the busy street scene.

you must have risked your life to take this shot…or was someone blocking the box as usual?

How fun! I think I love the color version because it really helps add to the busy-ness of the scene. Look at all those taxis lined up…seems exciting to me!
